I support shooting for the silver.  I don't care if it is smaller to reduce the cost.  I have only earned one buckle (it was not silver) and I wear it to every match.  I enjoy competitive shooting and would like to continue trying to win a silver buckle.  I would like the club to consider the elimination of a monthly "fun" match that would not be counted as a formal SFTS match.  As a show bird it is very difficult to compete in six matches (out of twelve).  Because of health reasons or family obligations if one match is eliminated I can't qualify.  We could reduce the number of competitive matches to 5. Give the show birds a better chance to qualify.
