I can understand the somewhat relaxed dress code because of the heat but letting cowboy shooters show up in shorts, sneakers and ball caps is going too far in my opinion. Short sleeve shirts, long pants, straw hats should suffice.

Thank you for your feedback.  We always appreciate hearing from our members and participants.  While the relaxed dress code may not be “Cowboy”, it was meant to help our shooters young and old, better endure a monthly match in the sweltering heat and add some fun.  By appearances, it seemed to be well received. 

With the exception of the Margaritaville match, it has not been the norm for ACSA to have a relaxed dress code.  

However, in addition to making the Margaritaville themed match an annual event during a summer month, we are considering having a relaxed dress code for an additional month next summer. 

We are happy you enjoyed the match and continue to strive to make each match enjoyable and fun!!

And what will the "relaxed" dress code be for a match next summer?  

I usually wait until after Christmas to plan my summer wardrobe.   I hate to keep you in suspense but with all the other things going on between now and then, look for announcement on that after the first of the year. 

But, I want to go shopping now for summer clothes while Walmart is clearancing all their summer clothes!!!!!  In January all they have is flannel and wool, and I am allergic to those fabrics.  Ok, if you folks aren't willing to tell us now what will be "acceptable" for the summer match, then when folks show up in speedos, tank tops, flip flops, and purple berets, then don't blame me!!!!
