To The ACSA Membership,

Subject to approval of the membership, the ACSA Board of Directors has been reorganized in order to address the vacant office of President.

The current term for President ends in December 2020. Lou Graham has agreed to serve as President through the end of this year. There will be nominations in September and the election for a two year term (2021 and 2022) in October.

The current term for Match Director ends in December 2021. Blue Ridge Ranger has agreed to serve as Match Director through the end of this year. Therefore, we will also have Match Director nominations and the election this fall for one year only (2021). We can then resume the normal place in the odd/even year cycle of elections for this position.

We want to reassure every member that even though we have not been able to gather and shoot together, the entire Board is unified in our determination to fulfill our responsibilities to you. We have committed to help and support each other as we look forward, develop contingency plans and manage the clubs regular business and activities.

Sincerely,

ACSA Board of Directors

President Lou Graham
Vice President Frank Stilwell
Treasurer Kenny Reds
Secretary Blackfire Opal
Member-at-Large Marshal Kane
Member-at-Large Bender
Match Director Blue Ridge Ranger

Questions may be directed to Lou Graham at lougraham@acsainc.com

Many thanks to everyone who has stepped up to give their valuable time to keeping the "dream alive" for all of us cowboys and cowgirls who have been members of, and will continue to be members of, ACSA.

Is Frank Stillwell still our TG as well as VP?  If he is doing double duty then I think he deserves a raise, probably at least 50%.

I can't believe 74 people viewed this post and Deadeye Al and I are the only ones to post a reply and thank the great people who have stepped up and are working hard to try and make sure all of us have a place "to play" once Ben Avery opens up.  Guess a lot of folks don't appreciate the unpaid volunteer work others do for them.

Thank you for the posts and yes Jake, I'm responsible for both positions. Thanks for the 50% increase suggestion. Just know if that increase comes through, I will, in a great Presidential tradition, donate it back to the general fund as I have done with my original salary.

Hey Frank, by your saying "in a great Presidential tradition", does that mean when the next election for ACSA President comes around you are going to run for the Office?

Okay Jake, pull over to the curb, exit the vehicle, and assume the position. To borrow a statement from President Johnson; "I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party (insert Club) for a term as your president". The reference of "Presidential tradition" is meant as a "tradion" only and not as any particular officer or non-officer assistant. Now that I think about it, I will be nominating YOU in September.

Your Pal,

Frank Stilwell

Ok. Now that we have the nomination for the next president out of the way, let's work on a nomination for a new Treasurer ... 😎 😎 Ken

Dear Frank, I am sorry to hear you have a "tradion".  I hope it doesn't hurt to much, and is not communicable, and hope of course that it is incurable.

Best Wishes,

Jake

Thank you Jake for your heartfelt concern over my tradion. It does not hurt "to" much (in fact not at all), it is not communicable, and lastly your hope that it is incurable is well noted.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Now wondering,                                                                                                                                                                                         Stilwell
