By now many of you have received the email from Quicksand about the cancellation.   I just called Ernie (the owner) at Trailriders Inn to cancel our reservations.   It is very sad that he noted that the "...Town Too Tough to Die..."  has also fallen on hard times.  The Crystal Palace and Big Nose Kate's restaurants served their last meals last evening.   He said the tours are expected to continue but those can not cover the rents.

For us at least we will still plan our annual road trip to Tombstone in the fall.  Perhaps others in this community can plan a weekend there as well.   It would be very sad to see this town die.
